+ The ONLY Two Things To Focus On

Hey there! Happy Saturday! ☀️
If you ever thought you’re a rockstar, let me tell you this - you’re absolutely right! You rock! 🤘
I have some good stuff for you this week so let’s get into it!
Money vs Art
Don’t let money stop you from creating your art. We all have bills to pay. It’s ok that your day job isn’t exactly your dream. But don’t let that stop you from chasing your long-term vision.
Not having enough energy is a common concern. But if you genuinely love what you’ve set out to do, it’ll likely energize you more than it drains you. Sitting down to do it is the hardest part. Once you’re in the flow, you may even find it difficult to stop. So just make sure you sit down. And if it’s always so hard, maybe you need to reconsider if that’s really your thing.
Not having time is a valid point too, but it often borders on an excuse. You’ll never have time. For important things, you make time. Don’t wait for extra time to magically appear, it won’t happen. Schedule it. Make it a habit, a part of your daily life and even better - a part of your identity, of who you are.
Stephen King used to work as a high-school English teacher, a janitor, and in an industrial laundry. He wrote in his spare time, often at night and on weekends. The rest is history.
Before becoming famous, Bad Bunny was working at a supermarket in Puerto Rico. He was making music in his free time and posting it on SoundCloud until it eventually picked up.
The ONLY Two Things To Focus On
If I had to pinpoint only two things that seem crucial for significant improvement and eventual success in any field, they would be consistency and discipline.
Consistency is the cornerstone of mastery. If you practice something long enough, you’ll eventually become really good at it. It’s that simple. There is no substitute for daily, dedicated practice. You can’t become a master at something by only doing it occasionally.
You may think you need motivation, but what you really need is discipline. Motivation is inconsistent and unreliable, it comes and goes. Discipline is the strength to follow through on your promises - to yourself and others - even when you don’t feel like it. It’s what separates the pros from the amateurs.
The key to both discipline and consistency is commitment. Take time to consider what you really want. Then make a decision and stick to it. Commit.
Bucket List
Here are The 25 Most Beautiful Cities In The World according to Travel + Leisure. Although obviously subjective, it does seem pretty accurate. At least I don’t have to update my list, they’re all in there! 🤩
And here is this week’s dose of mind-blowing beaches. This time we’re in Koh Kood, Thailand. Enjoy! 🏝️
