⚡️ Small Steps, Big Wins
+ Two Crazy Island Beaches!

Good morning and happy Saturday, my friend! ☀️
Small Steps, Big Wins
In the last letter, I talked about Life’s Tasks - the big visions and goals, the North Stars that determine our direction.
But sometimes we think so much about the big things that we forget the small ones. And it’s the small things we do that make the big things happen.
There is only one way to get good at something and that is to do it. Think about athletes and artists. Practice, practice, practice. Then perform, and repeat. That’s all they do.
To get to quality, we have to go through quantity. We have to work on our craft, do our reps, put in the time. Day after day, every hour counts.
In Million Dollar Weekend, Noah Kagan talks about The Law of 100: Whatever you set out to do, commit to 100 reps without even thinking about the results. Just practice.
I love this idea, because when we think of it like that (as opposed to failing or succeeding), our mindset is different - there’s nothing to be disappointed about, it’s not so scary, you’re just practicing - and it’s much easier to sustain momentum that way.
In The War of Art, Steven Pressfield talks about the principles of the pro (as in pro writer or artist, as opposed to an amateur). The first two of these principles:
We show up every day.
We show up no matter what.
I write only when inspiration strikes. Fortunately it strikes every morning at nine o’clock sharp.”
There is no secret. It’s just consistent little actions for a long period of time. Make a contribution every day. Small progress compounds. Getting just 1% better daily makes you 37 times better in a year.
Want to learn a new language? Learn five new words every day. Want to be a writer? Write one page every day. Want to be healthier and look better? Exercise every day.
Don’t worry about doing it all or making it big today. Just show up and win the day. And then do the same thing tomorrow.
This time, I challenge you to pick one task or habit that aligns with a goal you have and commit to doing it every single day this week. Pick something really small and simple so you can follow through, like reading a page of a book, writing 300 words, or exercising for 10 minutes.
I promise these small wins add up and build momentum. And then just keep it going! You got this! 💪
Bucket List
The World’s 50 Best Beaches are absolutely incredible, I may be a little obsessed and I’ll probably keep sending you these awesome reels until we’ve seen them all. 🤷🏻♂️
So here are two crazy ones, straight from the Philippines! 🇵🇭🏝️
One last thing: I’ve always thought of the French Riviera as a place for rich people’s lavish vacations, but I found this guide about visiting Nice, France 🇫🇷 on a budget and I f*ck with it.
If you’re in or planning to go to Europe this summer and looking for cool places to visit, you may wanna check this out. (spoiler alert: lots of croissants & baguettes)
That’s it for today. Have a badass weekend and see you next week! ✌️
